Philip Saltz is active in the practice of law in both the States of New Mexico and California. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from UCLA in 1955 and his J.D. degree in Law from USC in 1960. Before entering into a law practice in New Mexico, Phil operated Financial Decisions, Inc., a New Mexico Registered Investment Advisor. He was formerly a Judge Pro Tempore with the Los Angeles Municipal Court, an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers, and a lobbyist before the California State legislature where he has written legislation that is part of the California Public Utilities Code. He is a registered lobbyist before the New Mexico legislature. Since coming to Santa Fe in 1994, he has been President of the Santa Fe Life Underwriters’ Association, the NM School for the Deaf Foundation and the Santa Fe Northwest Advisory Council. Phil’s practice now focuses on estate planning and estate litigation in Santa Fe and California. |
