Shannon Broderick Bulman, president of Bulman Law, P.C. in Santa Fe, received a JD degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1989 and a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude, with major emphasis in Political Science and minor emphasis in History and Spanish, from the University of Connecticut in 1985. After graduation from law school, she clerked for Chief Judge William Bivins on the New Mexico Court of Appeals, and worked for several years for the State of New Mexico. Shannon enjoys an active elder law practice which includes Medicaid planning for long-term care, trusts for individuals with special needs, guardianships and conservatorships, estate planning and probate matters. She also represents individuals involved in adoptions. Shannon is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New Mexico Chapter of NAELA ; served on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Santa Fe for approximately ten years; and is a past chair of the State Bar's Elder Law Section. |
