Paul Cantwell was born and raised in New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico.

His home health care career began in Albuquerque as the administrator for a national home healthcare company, where he provided long hours of skilled nursing care. Two years later he was given an opportunity to launch the Home Instead Senior Care office in El Paso, Texas. Within a short period of time, the company was able to provide non-medical care for hundreds of seniors in the El Paso area.

Paul owned this office for four years, giving up the location when he purchased the Northern New Mexico office in May of 2007.

Home Instead provides non-medical home healthcare primarily to seniors. Services include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, limited transportation, and personal assistance.
