SUSAN ORTH takes a dedicated approach to her career, delivering excellent and personalized service to her clients. Susan has a BS degree in Psychology and an MBA. She continues to enhance her real estate skills with education in many areas such as finance, marketing and technology. Her numerous and prestigious designations include Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Internet Professional (e-PRO) and Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist (RECS). She also is a member of the Allen R Hainge CyberStars™, an elite, invitation-only group of leading real estate professionals dedicated to the use of technology in their real estate business. Susan is also the author of “How to Make Your Realtor® Get You the Best Deal-New Mexico Edition”
Susan has also been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. Seniors Real Estate Specialists® are REALTORS® qualified to meet the special needs and concerns of maturing Americans. A national program since 1998, The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC®) offers a specific designation, SRES, to identify those members who have successfully completed a specialized course of study into the special requirements of seniors buying, selling or investing in real estate.
By earning the SRES® designation, Susan has demonstrated the necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. Susan has received special training, gets regular updates, and is prepared to offer the options and information needed in making life changing decisions.
Susan is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), REALTORS® Association of New Mexico (RANM), and the Santa Fe Association of REALTORS® (SFAR), where she has served on the Education Committee and the Multiple Listing Committee. She is currently involved with the REALTORS® Association of New Mexico on the Forms Committee working with legal counsel to develop, produce and amend the forms that are necessary and appropriate for the Realtors® of New Mexico to conduct business in a legal and professional manner.
